I grew up south of Chicago and we always enjoyed the tavern style pizza. Deep dish was too much! Still crave the taste compared to what we get here in the south. Only pizza even close to what I was used to was in Sarasota, FL. I think it was from Joey D’s in downtown Sarasota. So sorry you were missing the sausage. Best part!😢🥰

From Chicago suburbs here and Pizza Hut does not even come close to a Chicago Tavern pizza. It seems they can not even get the toppings right for you. They should just give up on these pizzas. They will never get it right.
